  1. Get 250 gms of chival ki bhaji.
  2. You need 2-3 of onions chopped.
  3. Take 1 tsp of green chilli paste.
  4. Provide 1 tsp of ginger garlic paste.
  5. You need 2 tsp of red chilli powder.
  6. Prepare 1 tsp of turmeric powder.
  7. Get 1/2 tsp of garam masala.
  8. Provide to taste of Salt.
  9. Get 1 bowl of half cooked pigeon eyes daal.
  10. Prepare 1/2 tsp of mustard seeds.
  11. You need 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds.
  12. You need 3 tbsp of oil.

Instructions to make Chival ki bhaji:

  1. Heat oil in a wok. Add cumin mustard seeds,onions in it. Fry till golden crispy..
  2. Once done,add green chilli paste,ginger garlic paste,red chilli powder,turmeric powder,garam masala and saute for few min.
  3. Now add half cooked pigeon eyes daal and mix well..
  4. Finally add cleaned chopped chival ki bhaji and required salt to it..
  5. Mix well and cook for 10 min so that bhaji is well enhanced with masalas..
  6. Ready to serve with chapatis....

In Marathi it is called chival or tanduljeera. Tandulja is called Amaranthus green leaves in English. In Urdu probably we call this chudi ki bhaji.
